Everything, Anyway

There are these times,
like right now times

when anything at all
is too much to ask
when I might as well
ask for everything

if I ask for anything at all.

So I ask for
and nothing
is expected

like me
they want it all.

like me,
they can do nothing at all.

nothing more can be done.

is one of those times.

Top: St. Michael, or St. George, doesn't matter too much since I don't venerate saints. But it is a nice piece of art.

Bottom: The Bubble Nebula in Cassiopeia. The central bubble is formed by the leading edge of stellar wind from a star forty times the mass of our sun. This wind is moving at 2,000 km per second, or 4 million miles per hour. Again, this is one that you would like to click, as it is pretty and shiny, and therefore, highly mesmerizing. Very nice.

And this poem came about by request of a very cool friend who happened to catch a glimpse of a line that very few people saw, and reminded me to resurrect it because it was a good one.

I know exactly how you feel, because I've spent A Lot of time feeling that way.

Another great one Eric.

Dear brother,

To wait without hope is always the hardest wait.

I am praying for you and your aunt,

that there will be deep peace and light will surround you all,

Thank you always for your beautiful poetry - you are the gift.

I recognized it right away.
And I adore it in poetic form.

Especially these lines:

when anything at all
is too much to ask
when I might as well
ask for everything

Says so much.
Much love!!

This is beautiful. It reminds me of pure surrender, and acceptance.

OH no, I must read back. I have been away, trying to live my real life, only to find that THIS IS my real life and I've been neglecting it.
Erique, sending you love, light and bliss in a sweet cosmic bubble for you to open and use at will. Think of it as a cure-all pill, a baby Casseiopeia.

I try to make them all this good, but only a few live up to the promise of conception.

Thanks for the words, though.

Peace out.

Captain Corky

It's a bad feeling, but there's a lot to learn from it, too.

It's kind of my answer to the Serenity Prayer.

Good deal. The AA crowd will love me!

It's always too much to ask...

Yet, ask is all we can do, right?

Peace and love, my friend.

Thanks for the compliments. I've learned a lot from the lady up there. She taught me to really sing, and it's coming through now, all over.

Peace and love to you, too.

Yes, always ask.

Never be afraid to ask for something, especially if it's for someone else.

If prayers ever get answered, it's the prayers we say for the sake of other people that get the highest priority.

Bless you for all of your help! Your poetry is awesome, and my aunt loved the little bit I read to her.

Always welcome here. Come by any time.

I won't ever lose trust. Not trust, or love, or life. Or laughter.

Always, I'll keep them close. Vestments against evil.

But now it's time to really put the gift to work.

Your prayers all go to her. I need nothing, but anything for me should go to her.

Peace out, my brother.

Back at you, my friend.

It says a lot, and seriously, I thank you for letting me know what great lines I trimmed away. I had forgotten them that fast.

But now, they shine on their own.

Glad to have you around, as always.

It does.

and it is.

It's sad to accept, but I have to, in order to make the most of the short time left.

Thank you, too, for your words, as they lift me a little when I need that most.

You've neglected nothing. We all know you are busy. You have a lot to do all the time.

Your response was particularly poetic, too.
and bliss

cosmic bubble

Think of it
as a cure-all pill,
a baby Casseiopeia.
And I will... Thank you for sharing that.

Very melancholy. And I really really like that first picture.

You have summed it up superbly. Life as we know it all jumbled and tossed around as if we were in some cosmic dryer. I feel crazy and masticated.

today is not gonna be a pleasant work day -

so, yeah - sometimes, nothing can be done.

thank you for your words..

in this instance, you were right - the poor guy was stalking at a distance, and i had no idea. i was too busy bitching about the guy who didnt want me to see the one who did.

as i said, im in turmoil around what to do next. my parents are not helping matters either.

i want to get out of this town. i think that would solve a lot of my problems. to just, sky-rocket from the nest.. and live my own life.

eric, your words and support have been invaluable. ive had a couple seriously dark moments in the past couple months.. without your words, ... i may not have had hope.

and, without hope - there is no life.

and for this, i thank you.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for the season's greetings! I'm still busy, looking for 'flow' and succeeding to all intents and purposes. Can't wait to be back without baggage weighing me down. Still some mileage to go - eighty miles high to climb it seems right now!

More later and Happy 'X'mas and 'New' Year:)

Thank you. And yes, the top one is cool. I'd been wanting to use it for a while now.

This one encapsulates both of our lives at this moment. All kinds of wishes, many of them impossible, so might as well wish or pray away and ask for it all.

Take care, both of you.

Blessings back at you.

Enemy's blog is a haven for many a soul searcher. Glad you made it by.

There's nothing left to do but pray or wish or hope. That's where I'm at, too.

And as for the guy in the shadows--see? You have it going on! I'm happy for you.

And yes, a change of scenery will do you good. I'm sure the folks make you chafe for a better form of freedom. Been there, done that.

As for all the words... well, you inspire them and you deserve them. I could tell where you were emotionally, because I have walked the same dark paths. I've been to the edge, and thought hope to be dead.

It was like looking back in time at myself. Only, you are a lot better off than I was!

Take care and drop by again soon.

Glad to hear about the flow. Your art will undoubtedly grow due to this.

And no problem with the visit, I just wanted to check in and say hi.

Glad to see you around.

Peace out.

Unfortunate to have control beyond your means, eh?

We are always at the mercy of circumstance, but that truth is never so blatant as when a life is at stake.

Eric, I KNOW I commented on this poem; is blogger eating my comments to you? It's a conspiriacy!

You said it, my friend.

I was feeling terribly powerless.

But now, it's over, so peace will reign, I hope. Thanks for the observations.

It is a conspiracy, but I just now changed my template, from my old one to a different one and back to a design of the old one I had because I like it best.

Hopefully, this will clear things up.

That's what it's all about. Somehow, we have to try and come to peace with everything.

Even if it's not our to make it so, we try anyway.
