Trinity in the Light

Took me to the tip
of the mountaintop
and spilled me out
sticky fizz foaming
running wild
running down.

The hollows between
words and action~
the touch I'll never
forget
as she told me she knows
she knows...

She knows.

It's a feeling
it's a belief
a bend and a bridge
reaching out for blessings
the rain of tears
of a goddess and priestess
heart-beat drum
in the hands of my zealot
breaking me to pieces

To the end
it was the ride of my life

...but who am I

To say
it was only so for me?

Indeed, nothing that good goes without sharing.

...Have to agreee with Benji.

Yes.

No adolescent braggacio.

Sharing.

You have resurfaced.

With a fine poem.

I really like the repetition of "she knows." Good stuff.

Thanks, guys, middle of the night inspiration.

Been doing OK, fell off the earth for a second but landed right back on my feet somehow! Had to stop and take notice of the scene. Kind of in a daze still but that at least is something I know what to do with...

Write on, gentlemen! Thanks for the visits and the feedback as always.

Migod,

I have alerted my "Quarks" to the reserfacing of Eric Bachman.

I'm sure they'll be in to comment.

Hi, Eric: I love "heart beat drum." Lovely. So good to see you out and about. Hope all is well in your world. Been busy? D

Ivan

Always looking out for me. That's alright man. I miss everyone; Donnetta, Liz, Jo, and Mona now as well (hope i did not leave anyone out). Ivan's support group and now my honorary support group too.

Ultra Toast

It works for me! And it seems to work for the shared party as well. One of a kind that one is. Nice thing is she's a writer and artist too, so I have to take care not to step on her toes or she'll step on mine with equal loquacious aplomb!

Donnetta

I use that line or one similar from time to time in a couple poems... a theme for me, to be sure. I'll need to call a collection by that name to tie it all together

Out and about was were i was. 2010 has been a great summer, and I hope that that will continue into the latter seasons. As for what I've been up to, well, to quote Kurt Vonnegut, "...perfectly beautiful trouble".

Take care all!

And I'll be checking by next week to see what you have to say. But for now, just glad to know you are still alive and well.

even though you are not alone in this, you are still unique in your own way. Existence needs each one of us for her own purpose, delivering which, we pass away...
