The girl in the picture,
with the blue-green sea
reflected in her luminous
crystal ball eyes...
She
hangs out right here
on my busy,
busted up but
still standing desktop...
Her eyes:
like the oceans
sometimes
tell me sublime secrets
of the wild universe
pulsing in my heart
...but only
when she thinks
she knows
that I'm not really
listening.
The wonderful art of Singleton... Always an inspiration.

It is the ruins that whisper secrets to me.
Everyone needs a muse, even a reluctant one.
Your poem "And [Love]" really spoke to me. Haunting.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and letting me know there is yet another terrific blogger out there to follow.
Charles
I find secrets being whispered by many, many things... But in this its a work of art.
Thanks for dropping by,
AvDB (res?!?)
My muses are all over. Sometimes I just like to call it/blame it on inanimate art. :)
No prob on the visit.
Going to be going out of town, but I hope to be somewhat near a computer. Hope I might have a post or two while away.
Interesting. Listening (audio) is so important to me because I'm aurically centered. Everything else that tells you about someone, and what they're telling you, often goes over my head.
Who is not listening? you or her?
Great imagery here... Love the mystery of your writings
...
Like the poem. Can identify. Love the art.
Someone once said I should read "Love among the Ruins", Lawrence Durell...but I never have.
Heh!
She'll love this!
Perfectly captures the way I used to feel when I looked at my Tarot cards.
Eric-this is Diana. I lost my other blog. I can't log into it anymore, I'm not sure what happened. So, I had to start a new one. Luckily, I had only posted in the other one once. So, hopefully after this false start I can get going again.
Sorry for the long absence... I have been enjoying my reemergence into poetry!
Also, moved back to the Detroit area, living with a good friend who needs some help around her house while she's busy with work and school.
I'll be joining her in school soon, as well. I'll talk more about that later.
Also, I joined a band called Detroit Perfect. We're an acoustic punk rock band, and I'm playing bass (electric! heh... i get to be the groovacious thunder! yeah...). Crossing my fingers that it works out for the one purpose that I need right now: distraction and fun.
I guess that's 2 purposes actually...
